Painting the whole room

It is always a great idea when deciding to paint a room to take on the whole room and paint it from top to bottom.

Deciding to only paint one or two walls, or just the woodwork, will not freshen up the room and make the areas that haven't been painted look tatty. Therefore you will be wasting your money.

Rather save up and invest in a good decorator that will take care and attention to detail.

When you see your decorator filling and rubbing down and scraping and caulking up everywhere, this is a good sign.

Remember that 80-90% of painting and decorating a room is preparation.

The better the preparation, the crisper the finish and the longer the decorating job will last for and your money will be well spent and you will have a beautiful room in your home.
